January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month! This awareness event, hosted by MG ALERT, is free to the public and will feature a Not My Life Film Screening as well as three speakers.

Not My Life, a film produced by Worldwide Documentaries, Inc. and directed by Robert Bilheimer, has a runtime of 64 minutes. According to the synopsis provided by Worldwide Documentaries, "Not My Life is the first film to depict the cruel and dehumanizing practices of human trafficking and modern slavery on a global scale."
After the film screening, there will be three speakers: Georgia's Attorney General Sam Olens, Alia El-Sawi (Victim Assistance Specialist for ICE Homeland Security Investigations), and finally, an adult survivor of child sex trafficking.
